La asignatura de Ofimática es fundamental en la formación profesional, ya que dota a los estudiantes de competencias para gestionar documentos, organizar datos, y optimizar procesos en un entorno digital. Los estudiantes aprenden a utilizar herramientas de procesamiento de texto para la redacción de informes y documentos oficiales, además de hojas de cálculo para analizar datos y presentar resultados de manera gráfica. Así, desarrollan habilidades que son necesarias para la toma de decisiones, la gestión de información y la comunicación profesional, cualidades que son valiosas en prácticamente todos los campos laborales.

Dear students,

It is a pleasure to welcome you to English Level I! My name is Alejandra del Cisne Torres Ajila, and I am delighted to accompany you as you begin this new stage of your academic journey.

Starting something new is always an opportunity to learn, grow, and discover what we are capable of achieving. For some of you, learning English may be a familiar experience, while for others, it may be a completely new challenge. Whatever your previous experience, I want you to know that this course is an opportunity for everyone to learn, improve, and develop new skills step by step.

English is one of the most widely used languages in the world and an important tool for communication in today's globalized society. It is used in many fields, including education, technology, tourism, medicine, business, and engineering. Learning English can help you access new information, connect with people from different cultures, and discover valuable opportunities for your academic, personal, and professional development.

Throughout this course, we will begin developing the four essential language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. We will also learn basic vocabulary, useful expressions, and grammatical structures that will help you communicate in everyday situations. Little by little, you will gain the confidence to introduce yourselves, share information, express your ideas, and interact in English.

As your teacher, my commitment is to guide you, support your learning, and provide opportunities for you to practice and improve. In return, I encourage you to participate actively, complete your assignments responsibly, respect your classmates, and approach every activity with a positive attitude. Do not be afraid of making mistakes. Every mistake is an opportunity to learn, and every effort brings you closer to your goals.
